Consultation Types

Initial visit- Identify cause of condition and strategy for health

Prior to a first visit, there will be many forms to fill out. These can be picked up at the clinic when booking the appointment or I will e-mail it out. Unfortunately due to time constraints if the forms are not filled out prior to the visit, there may be no time to use the SCIO or Hemaview live blood analysis.

The first visit is approximately 45 minutes. In this visit the aim is to identify the cause of an illness and develop a treatment strategy. For example a person may feel tired. Instead of only giving them B vitamins, I look for the cause such as prolonged stress, poor digestion and poor sleep and prevent fatigue from coming back in a few weeks.

During the first visit, I will review the forms and ask many questions to get a full picture of health history and current health concerns. I will also look at any relevant test results from a doctor (blood tests, ultrasound reports) as they will be helpful to me in my assessment. To further help with my assessment I will use Hemaview live blood analysis or the SCIO machine to further determine other underlying factors contributing to poor health. At the end of the first visit, I will make some treatment recommendations, which will be followed up at the next visit. After the initial consultation I will e-mail a detailed report explaining the possible cause of any conditions and also a health improvement strategy. After a few days I will call to follow up on progress and answer any questions.

Initial visit includes:

  • 45 minute visit
  • SCIO or Hemaview analysis
  • Report after consultation
  • Follow up call.

Repeat  visit- Follow up to monitor progress

The  second visit could be as soon as the following week. In most cases, it is two weeks after the first visit. The second visit is 30 minutes long. During the second visit, we will look at how you are responding to any treatments suggested in the first visit. At this time, I will continue to gather information through various methods, including reviewing any remaining forms, Hemaview live blood analysis, SCIO machine and/or performing blood or urine tests. Following the second visit, subsequent visits are usually half an hour in length. If your main health concern is corrected then a maintenance consultation would only be required to keep your health on track.

Follow up visit includes:

  • 30 minute visit
  • SCIO or Hemaview analysis

Acute care- For short term health issues

This is a quick visit for treatment of short term problems that have not been an issue for longer than a month, for example - diarrhea, colds and flu. The focus is on resolving the issue as it arises and prevent it from degenerating into a more serious health issue. An acute care visit is usually 30 minutes.

Acute care visit includes:

  • 30 minute visit
  • SCIO or Hemaview analysis

Maintenance care- keeping health on track

If your main health issue has been resolved focus will move on to maintaining your health. To help keep your health on track, a 15 minute maintenance visit every month or two is ideal.  I will answer any questions you may have and provide coaching on diet and lifestyle. In order to monitor progress I will use the Hemaview live blood analysis and alternate it with SCIO analysis.

Maintenance care visit includes:

  • 15 minute visit
  • SCIO or Hemaview analysis
