Preparing for IVF

Giving your cycle the best possible chance

IVF Naturopath

Online, Australia Wide

Caulfield South, Melbourne

Heading into IVF is a huge step - emotionally, physically and financially. I want to help you walk in feeling as prepared and supported as possible, knowing that you've done everything within your power to give this cycle the very best chance. I work with women & men online across Australia and in person in Caulfield South, Melbourne.

The research supporting naturopathic preparation for IVF is genuinely exciting. Studies show that targeted nutritional and lifestyle interventions in the months leading up to an IVF cycle can positively influence egg quality, embryo development, endometrial receptivity and overall outcomes. This isn't about leaving anything to chance - it's about giving your body every possible advantage.

I work closely with women preparing for IVF in Melbourne and across Australia, providing a personalised protocol that complements your fertility clinic's approach. I believe in open, collaborative care. I'll never recommend anything that conflicts with your specialist's advice, and I'm happy to communicate with your team if needed.

"You've made one of the bravest decisions. My role is to make sure your body is as ready as it can possibly be - and that you never feel alone in this process."

The ideal preparation timeline

Ideally, we begin working together at least three months before your planned IVF cycle. This allows us to complete a full egg maturation cycle with targeted support. However, even starting one month out, or even during stimulation, can still be of significant benefit.

It's truly never too late to reach out. Wherever you are in the process, I'll meet you there. We'll work to reduce inflammation, support egg quality, optimise your hormonal environment and prepare your body as thoroughly as possible for conception, whether naturally or with medical assistance.

IVF preparation: what to expect

1. Pre-stimulation

Building your nutritional foundation, addressing deficiencies, and optimising egg and sperm quality in the 3 months prior.

2. During stimulation

Gentle support to help your body respond well to medications, minimise side effects and support follicle development.

3. Post transfer

Supporting implantation, reducing early pregnancy loss risk, and providing emotional support through the two-week wait and beyond.
